Question 1

What is an ATS simulator and how does it evaluate my resume?

Accepted Answer

An ATS simulator analyzes how applicant tracking systems parse plain-text data from your resume, extract key skills and technologies, and match them against job requirements. It shows you the structured view a system works from, before a person reads your resume.

Question 2

Why do applicant tracking systems filter out qualified resumes?

Accepted Answer

ATS platforms index resumes by keywords and structured fields. Missing the exact skill phrases a role asks for, using complex multi-column formatting, or leaving out measurable results can mean a qualified application is never surfaced to a human reviewer.

Question 3

How do Greenhouse, Lever, and Workday screening rules differ?

Accepted Answer

Each platform parses resumes into structured fields and lets employers search and filter on them, but the exact rules and settings vary by employer and are not public. That is why the simulator shows you the extracted view and the keyword gaps instead of promising a result with any specific employer.

Question 4

How does Menos help with all this?

Accepted Answer

Menos scans company career pages for new roles, audits how your resume fits a role, and helps you tailor your application, draft outreach, and prepare for interviews. Menos also issues your Honos candidate passport, a verified record of your capabilities and work evidence at honos.id that hiring managers can inspect. You review and apply yourself; Menos never submits applications for you.
